Alanna is an award winning, nationally recognized photographer. She started Iron City Studios after her High School Senior clients expressed a desire to have higher standard of excellence in school photography in the area.
Alanna’s love for photography was in her blood. Her grandfather was a photographer and she picked it up very early. Side-tabled for a long time to pursue another career, Alanna came back to photography to open her studio, first in California and then in Birmingham, AL. She currently owns and operates both Iron City Studios and Alanna Rose Photography, a boutique Senior Photography Experience.
In addition to running the studio, Alanna dedicates her time and staff to Survivor Alliance, a national cancer survivor organization. She has photographed their annual conference for the past four years in Nashville, TN. In additional to the conference, Alanna has shot several celebrities and keynote speakers for the organization including: Guilliana and Bill Rancic, Scott Hamilton, Shannon Miller, Tabatha Coffey, and Super Model Emme. She is honored and thrilled to be a part of the organization.
Alanna is a mother of two young children and a wife to a career pilot. Often you will find her family helping out with the studio or her children (or her dog) in her office with her. Alanna lives in the Birmingham area with her family.
