Although this year has been anything but normal, Iron City Studios wants to give special attention to every senior who has worked so hard and made it this far. Here are some products and services we are offering to showcase your senior as well as some tips and tricks to help make the most out of this time. We are proud of ALL of our students and hope to see you all very soon.
1) Celebrate BIG with yard signs.
This year brings some new struggles when celebrating your grad. In response, we have created graduation yard signs to help celebrate your senior. No Yard? No problem! You can display your sign in your window. You can find our designs and pre-order here:
Looking for something different? Ask us about creating a custom sign for you. We have had some parents take yard signs to a whole new level by putting life-size cut-outs of their senior in their yard! Similar to the way people celebrate big birthdays in their front yard, celebrate your senior. It's sure to bring a smile!
2) Social Media is not the same as sending out a graduation announcement.
Graduation announcements are a tangible way to remind friends and family about the big moments and allow them to help you celebrate your senior in return. Remember what it was like when you got a birthday card in the mail? It's exciting to get gifts/cards in the mail that show you how much people love you. Don't forget to display the cards in your home and really let your senior shine. It will make the bittersweet feelings just a little bit sweeter!
You can order graduation announcements from lots of online retailers like Shutterfly, tiny prints, etc or you can ask us to create a custom design for you! Don't forget the most iconic graduation photo of all is your formal and/or cap and gown photo!

3) Bummed about prom but already have the dress?
If you already have the dress, set up a photoshoot anyway! We have had people use their prom dress for glamour shoots or editorial style sessions. Or we can get creative and do a faux prom shoot and you can go out in your dress for a nice dinner with your prom date (as soon as restaurants can re-open.)
4) Focus on the future.
We know this year has been a bummer for these seniors so why not get them excited about their future instead of focusing on what they have missed! You can help lift their spirits by looking for school swag for the school they are planning to attend. For most schools, you can find fun T-Shirts, Mugs, Keychains, etc. online.
5) Plan your dorm or living space.
Don't forget to help them start planning their dorm rooms or college living spaces. This can be a great distraction! You can start by shopping online, creating a Pinterest board, etc.
6) Stay informed with your school.
Some schools have already announced they are planning on holding a late graduation ceremony. While this may not work for everyone, the hope is that the majority of the students can cross the stage. If that is the case, we will see you there!
